Home burned early Monday morning

A Pearl River County home at 153 Inside Road was severely damaged by a fire Monday.
The fire began around 5 a.m., said Pearl River County Fire Marshall Jonathan Head. Firefighters responded to find the home fully involved, leading to it being declared a total loss. No one was injured and no one was in the house at the time of the fire. The home had one occupant.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, said Head.
