Claudia Johnston Bond of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the age of 100.

Claudia was born September 19, 1919 in Selma, Alabama. She was a long-time resident of Carriere, Mississippi and a former resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana. She loved animals and was an avid gardener and book reader.

She is survived by two sons, Meridith C. Bond of Knoxville, Tennessee and David C. Bond of Bogalusa, Louisiana; one daughter, Andrea Marie Foil (James) of Carriere, Mississippi; and nine grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Cabe Bond; parents, Claude and Trila Johnston.

Services will be held at a later date.
