Mr. Richard Kenneth “Kenny” “K.C.” Carroll, 68, of Coatopa, Alabama, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019, at his residence on the bank of the Tombigbee River. He was born April 20, 1951, in Picayune, Mississippi, to R.W. and Maxine Stewart Carroll.

Mr. Carroll loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time at the river. He was a self-employed carpenter.

Survivors include his sons, Chad “Mud Bone” Carroll and wife Jessica, and  Keith Miller and wife Tammy; daughters, Ashley LaVigne and husband Brad, Amber Fleming, and Christina Carroll; 15 grandchildren, Bryson Wallace; Riley Eddy; Chase Thigpen and fiancé Leah, Alexis Hawthorne and husband Colby, Dallas Taylor; Eli Lavigne, Matthew Snyder, Bailey Carroll, Laura Carroll, Adam Fleming and wife Meagan, Austin Fleming and wife Kate, Abby Fleming, Seth Miller; Blake Miller, and Micah Miller; 5 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kimberlynn, Christopher, Isabelle, and Lillie; brothers, Wayne Carroll, and Don Carroll and wife Susie; sisters, Debbie Carroll Kenned, and Dianne Carroll Mattina and husband Jeff.

He was preceded in death by his parents, R.W. and Maxine Carroll; his son-in-law, Christopher Fleming; and his niece, Tabatha Lee Smith.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Tabatha Lee Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund at any Hancock Bank or at paypal.me/tabascholarship.
