Funeral Services for Richard Anthony Rodrigue, Sr., age 69, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019, will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Union Baptist Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Phil Pearson will officiate the service.

A native of Marrero, LA, he was a Butcher and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Richard was a member of the Scottish Rite and a 32nd degree Master Mason. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who loved his family dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris Rodrigue and Leona Levron Rodrigue Breaux; and brothers, LeRoy Rodrigue and Jerry Rodrigue.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 9 devoted years, Leslie C. Rodrigue; children, Jacqueline (Lonnie) Fishback, Richard “Rick” Anthony (Katherine) Rodrigue Jr., Hope D. Simmons, Jesica M. (Trevor) Patterson, Anthony Scott Smith Jr.; grandchildren, Sloane (Michael) Kendziora, Samantha McCaskie, Isabella Rodrigue, Gabriella Rodrigue, Jody Smith, Kendall Smith, Carter Smith, Colston Smith, Kaycee Patterson, and Grayson Patterson; great-grandchildren, Rachel Kendziora, Erik Kendziora, Lillian Rochelle and Parker James Rochelle; and brother, Raymond Rodrigue.
