Funeral service will be held Sat., Oct. 13, 2019 at noon in First Cornerstone Baptist Church for Eddie “Eddie Pic” Johns Jr., age 75, of Picayune, MS,  who died Oct. 2, 2019 at his home, in Picayune, MS. Rev. Vernon Robinson will officiate at the service.  Burial in the New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, MS.,  he was a Chef at Stennis Space Center. 

Survivors  include wife, Patricia Ann  Fortenberry Johns of Picayune, MS; stepson, Delon  Marzette of Jackson, MS; 3 grandchildren, Chad and Justin Quinn, Brianna Taylor, of  Picayune, MS; 5 brothers, Cleveland ( Betty) Johns, Charlie (Carol) Johns, Clarence (Linda) Johns, Charles Ray (Lo) Johns, Ricky Johns; 5 sisters, Earnestine (Earl) Carter, Geraldine McDonald, Brenda Walls, Rosemary (Ollie) Campbell, Betty Sue (Rev.Vernon) Robinson; 1 brother-in-law, Earl (Mary) Fortenberry; 4 sisters-in-law, Betty (Leon) Anderson, Betty Saucier, Sandra Saucier, Louise (Kizer) Harvin; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Eddie Sr. and Martha Lee Smith Johns; and siblings, Calvin Johns and Bay Carter.

Visitation will be Sat., Oct. 13, 2019 from 10 am. until noon in First Cornerstone Baptist Church under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
