Earl Albert Trosclair

Earl Albert Trosclair, age 93, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 in the comfort of his home.

Earl was a long-time resident of Carriere, and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

He was a Staff Sergeant, WWII Veteran with the U.S Air Force. He enjoyed spending time outdoors working in the yard, wood working, building bird houses, duck hunting and fishing. He also spent time doing artwork such as drawing and painting pictures. He will be greatly missed by many family and friends.

He is survived by one son, Michael E. Trosclair (Peggy) of Slidell, Louisiana; two daughters, Janell M. Trosclair of Carriere, Mississippi and Denise T. Eck (Mike) of Madisonville, Louisiana; six grandchildren, Stephanie Krouse, Barrett Lore (Cassie), Michael Eck, Jr. (Heather), Kristen Barr, Bria Trosclair, Zachary Trosclair; eight great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lavon Delaune Trosclair; parents, Leonce “Buck” Trosclair and Cecile Gonzales Trosclair; two brothers, Calvin Trosclair and Wayne Trosclair; one sister, Marjorie T. Mailhes.

Visitation will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Friday, October 11, 2019, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Mass will follow.

Celebration of Life will be held at Hide Away Lake Lodge immediately following Mass for family and friends. A Private burial will be held later.
