Graveside Funeral Services for Argel “Paw Paw” Marion Burge, age 82, of Henleyfield Community, MS, who passed away Monday, October 28, 2019, will be held Thursday, October 31, 2019, at 11:00 am at Henleyfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Henleyfield Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Vernon Watts will officiate the service, assisted by Bro. Tommy Hart.

A native of Henleyfield Community, MS, he was a Truck Driver for HRL and a member of First Baptist Church of Henleyfield. Paw Paw was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Marion Burge and Virginia Dare Stewart Burge; his daughter, Tammy Denise Bowen; and his brothers, Carl Burge, Gavin Burge, and Ray Burge.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Barbara “Bob” Sones Burge; his children, Eric (Lana) Burge, and Tonya (Bucky) Smith; his son-in-law, Dana Bowen; 7 grandchildren, Justin, Drew, and Hanna Bowen,, Miranda and Aiden Smith, Tyler and Caden Burge; 5 great-grandchildren, Grant, Griff,, and Blair Bowen, Mason and Regan Bowen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
