Father Jon Filkins will officiate the service.

A native of Richmond, VA, she was a homemaker and attended Trinity United Methodist Church. Bobbie’s many interest’s were vast and interesting.  She enjoyed nothing more than entertaining a group of friends at her home for many occasions.  Her love of gardening, inherited from her mother, was an ever evolving project.  She enjoyed painting and accomplished many pieces of artwork that she presented to her children.  She was a pioneer in outdoor hunting adventures for women back in the 60’s.  She was one of the first women ever featured in Outdoor Life when writer Ted Trueblood came down to see her massive buck, which she killed in Adams County Mississippi.  She was a cheerful and happy person, and if you had the pleasure to enjoy her company, you are smiling now of fond memories with Bobbie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carr H. Carson and Theresa Harris Carson; her loving and devoted husband, Frank G. Davis; her son, Francis Carson Davis; and her sister, Martha Ann Auringer.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Guy E. (Arlene) Davis, Martha D. (Clay) Dossett, and Theresa Alexander; 4 grandchildren, Michael G. Davis, Rebecca Davis, Adam (Magee) Dossett, and Sterling Alexander; 2 great grandchildren, Carson Dossett and Frances Dossett; her niece, Debbie (Mike) Jones; and her nephew, Foster Auringer.
