Funeral services will be held Sat. Aug. 31, 2019 at 11 a.m., in Glorious Church of God In Christ, 24 Burton Rd. Poplarville, MS., for Mr. Jerry Loper, age 65, of Poplarville, MS., who died Aug. 21, 2019 in Forrest General Hospital.

The Rev. Victor Robinson Sr. will officiate at the service. Burial will be in the Dave Monday Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home. A native of Poplarville, MS.,  he was a member of  Glorious Church of God In Christ.

Survivors included: wife Edna D. Loper of Poplarville, MS.; 1 daughter Myesha Tutt of Los Angelo, CA.; 5 sons Jerry Loper Jr., Jermaine Loper, Jeremiah Loper all of CA., Micheal Loper, and Chris Murray all of TX.,;19 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; mother Edna Loper of Poplarville, MS.; 2 sisters, Sylvia Newkirk, and Cynthia Loper Jarvis both of Poplarville, MS.; 6 brothers, Edward Earl (Susan) Loper, Glen Loper, Jackie Loper, Donald Ray Loper, Calvin (Towera) Loper, Derrit Loper, all of Poplarville, MS.; a host of nieces nephews, relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by  father Lester Earl Loper, daughter Dejahi Loper, son Darrly Kenneth Loper, sister Elizabeth “Women” Loper McDonald, sister-in-law Alice Loper, and brother-in- law Reginald Duncan. Visitation Aug. 31. 2019 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Glorious Church of God In Christ. under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
