Dana Rose Branch, 84, of Picayune, MS, was surrounded by her family when she passed away on August 8, 2019, at Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Covington, LA.

She was born Dana Lee Ott on the family ranch in the gypsum hills outside Medicine Lodge, KS. She grew up between a California logging town and the wheat fields of southern Kansas. She often laughed that she was voted the “most beautiful girl in school” multiple years in her rural 1 room school house attended by 3 boys and 1 girl. She later went on to build one of the most successful arts and crafts promotion business in the southern United States and became the first woman promoter of mall shows in the region.

Mrs. Branch had a vibrant faith in Jesus and deep love for family and friends. She remained active in her home church, Roseland Park Baptist Church, until her passing, where she served as president of her Sunday school class and a leader of visitation ministry to homebound and shut-ins.
