Mark Lewis Nichols, age 58, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019, surrounded by family. Mr. Nichols is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Chester Ivy. Survivors include his mother, Laverne Evelyn Ivy; two sons, Joshua Chase Nichols (Hayley) and Clayton Joseph Nichols; one brother, Michael Joseph Ivy (Bambi); one sister, Lisa Ivy Gilliland (Mac); three nieces, Savannah Ivy, Jayme Denison and Casey Stuart; one nephew, Timothy Denison; one ex-wife, Renee Snead (Tony); and a host of aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 12, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Wetumpka Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. John Varner officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the memorial service. Wetumpka Memorial Funeral Home directing.
