Crawford Wallace of McNeill, Mississippi passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at the age of 84.

Crawford was a lifelong resident of McNeill and of the Baptist faith. He was a Carpenter and belonged to Local Carpenter Union 1846.He was a well-known farmer, also served as Assistance Scout Master for troop 81 in McNeill. His love for the outdoors was well known and has been passed down to his children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday, June 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tommy Varnado officiating.

Crawford is survived by his wife: Sue Wallace married 59 years of McNeill; two sons: Reed Wallace Sr. of Poplarville, and Mark Wallace of McNeill; one daughter, Carla Rene Wallace of Henleyfield; one sister Joyce Burton of McNeill, eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents: Samuel and Elitha Wallace; sisters, Bonnie Cooper, Myrtle Dossett, Lyndal Williamson, Hazel Spiers, Mary Dale Wallace, Shirley Fern Wallace, and one brother, Winton Wallace.
