Funeral Services for Terrell Lavern Pigott, age 96, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019, will be held Monday, April  22, 2019, at 2:30 pm at Harmony Baptist Church, Picayune, MS.

Visitation will be Monday, April  22, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm at Harmony Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Brad Arnett will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, he was a wounded veteran of World War II in the U .S. Army. Lavern was a retired Electrical Supervisor for Coast Electric Power Association and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

He enjoyed caring for his farm animals, and was an avid member of The Leaf River Trail Riding Club. Lavern was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Pinkton Pigott and Nancy Elizabeth Davis Pigott; his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Eunice Wise Pigott; his sisters and brothers, Verdie Fisher, Horris Pigott, Maurice Pigott, Vernon Pigott, Evuan Pigott, Wilda Archer, Waldo Pigott, Daris Pigott, and Darrell Pigott.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Wendall (LaJuan) Pigott, and Dianne (Bobby) Rose; his 10 grandchildren, Jennifer (Bradley) Norris, Jeremy Rose, Jessica (Justin) Dalton, Amanda (Jerry) Foxworth, and Randall (Emily) Pigott; his 10 great grandchildren, Emily Norris, Kyle Norris, Autumn Rose, Ivy Kate Rose, Logan Dalton, Jobe Foxworth, Audrey Foxworth, Mae Ellen Foxworth, Richmond Pigott, and Clara Pigott; and numerous nieces and nephews.
