Graveside Funeral Services for Sidney Beech Sanford, age 79, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Monday, April 15, 2019, will be held Friday, April 19, 2019, at 11:00 am at Walters Cemetery, Monroe Road, Seminary, MS.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, MS.

Burial will be in Walters Cemetery, Monroe Road, Seminary, MS under the direction of Jones and Son Funeral Home.

Local arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Seminary, MS, he was a retired Carpenter. Sidney loved Elvis Presley, country music, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John “Auz” O. Sanford and Minnie Sullivan Sanford; his great grandson, Bryce Ruff; and his brother, baby Sanford.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Cook Sanford; his children, Roger (Sylvia) Sanford, Beverly Patterson, Ronnie (Tessa) Sanford, and Randy (Lisa) Sanford; 8 grandchildren, Paul (Cindy) Ruff, Jennifer (Scott) Henry, Lauren Sanford, Sheldon Sanford, Tiffany (Mitch) Kinsel, Justin Patterson, Alex (Ryan) Lang, and Anna (Wade Bush) Sanford; and 13 great grandchildren, Macy, Spencer, Ethan, Ramsey, and Arabella Ruff, Jackson, Margaret, Celah, and Havana Henry, Mikayla Allen, Tayleigh and Madilyn Kinsel, and Cynthia Lang.
