James BoBy Spiers

James BoBy Spiers, 60, of Hattiesburg passed Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Merit Health Wesley. Services will be Monday, April 8, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg followed by burial in Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Spiers was a loving husband and father. His grandchildren were his greatest joys in life. He devoted 40 years of service to Cooperative Energy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Kathleen Spiers and his sister, Melody Spiers.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Spiers; three daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and William Craig, Amanda and Neil Sanford and Olivia and David Neal; six grandchildren, Ashlee Craig, Thomas Craig, Emily Craig, Melody Taylor, Braylon Neal and Iley Sanford; two sisters, Regina Stockstill and Rita Quick and two brothers, Carlie Spiers and Benny Spiers.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
