Funeral Services for Opal H. “Bob” Albritton, age 96, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019, will be held Friday, March 8, 2019, at 11:00 am at New Palestine Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Friday, March 8, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at New Palestine Baptist Church.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Bud Putnam will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, she was a member of New Palestine Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Lovell Herrin and Minnie Madora Thigpen Herrin; her husband, Leslie Lavon Albritton; her son, Leslie Lamar Albritton; her brothers and sisters, J.D. Herrin, Maude Ball, Mae Upton, Little Pete Herrin, and LaVon H. Smith.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Judith Ann (Charles) Gilbert, Linda “Lynn” Lavon (Richard) Culpepper, Larry Lavell (Kathy) Albritton, and Don (Rhonda) Albritton; her daughter-in-law, Charlotte Albritton; 21 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 26 great great grandchildren; 2 great great great grandchildren; her sister, Joy Warren Dawsey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
