Mass of Christian Burial for Edna L. Guidry, age 85, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018, will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 12:00 pm at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Picayune, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Alphonse Malley/Sandhill Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Father Alwin Samy and Deacon Doug McNair will officiate the service.

A native of Hancock County, MS, she was a retired Office Manager for APG, Inc and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Edna was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandchildren, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ceville Ladner and Emma Garriga Ladner; her husband, John Leo Guidry: her son, Danny  Avin; her brothers and sisters, Welton Ladner, Sr., Ester Ladner, Wilma Hurst, Ceville Ladner, John Ladner, Ray Ladner, Glenn Gilreath, Mamie Necaise, Peter Ladner, and Betty Arnold.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tina (Joe) Avin-Grubbs, Nick (Janet) Guidry, Kevin (Cynthia) Avin, and Leslie (Ronnie) Reynolds; 17 Grandchildren; 35 great grandchldren; her sister, Emma L. Licciardi; and a host of nieces and nephews.
