Lt. Rodney Charles Brown

Memorial graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens, 2618 Hwy 43 South, Picayune, MS 39466 for Lt. Rodney Charles Brown, 70, a native of Picayune, MS. Rev. Donald Parker and Rev. Brian Dess will officiate at the services.

Rodney Charles was born to the late Charles R. and Vivian A. Brown on October 15, 1948 in New Orleans, LA.

He was a former member of Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church, a graduate of George Washington Carver High School, Gustavus Adolphus College and a veteran of the United States Navy.

On Friday, October 26, 2018, Rodney walked through the valley of the shadow of death and feared no evil, for God was with him. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Clyde and Elizabeth Crawford; two brothers, Terell and James Brown; a very special cousin, Rosilyn Brown Woods.

Rodney leaves to cherish his loving memory; three sisters, Demetria McGill of Picayune, MS, Mary Brown of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and Andrea Brown-Burton of Picayune, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Interment will follow after services with military honors.
