Funeral Services for Joseph Myron Wright, age 62 Years, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018, will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 10:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Monday, October 8, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Gipson Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Jamie Brown will officiate the service.
A native of Picayune, MS, he was a Commercial and Residential Carpenter. Joe “Woodsman” was an avid outdoorsman. He never met a stranger. Joe was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie H. Wright and Annice Wright Wright, and his son, Justin Allen Wright.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Cliff (Glenda) Ysais, Joseph (Liz LeGaux) Wright, Rueben Wright, and Hannah (Robert) Lowery; 11 grandchildren, Seth Ysais, Lexi Wright, Kraig Ysais, Matt Wright, Kinzey Tucker, Kiera Ysais, Caleb Beatty, Darian Beatty, Colby Wright, Hayden Wright, and Emma Rae Wright; his sisters, Patricia (Bill) Quisenberry, Janice (Donnie) Bond, Mary (Jamie) Brown, and Laura (Dale) Guidry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
