Funeral Services for JoAnn Dyess Wise, age 86, of Henleyfield Community, MS, who passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018, will be held Friday, October 26, 2018, at 2:00 pm at New Palestine Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Friday, October 26, 2018 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at New Palestine Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Henleyfield Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. R.T. Buckley and Dr. Josh Braddy will officiate the service.

A native of McNeill, MS, she was a Homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Henleyfield. JoAnn loved to sew, make quilts, and work in her flower gardens. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Dyess and Ida Cranford Dyess; and her brothers, Cranford Dyess, Bill Dyess, and Dan Shelp Dyess.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 64 years, Huey Ray Wise; her sons, Steve Wise and Craig Wise and his wife Melissa; 7 grandchildren, Candy (Will) Penton, Kevin (Rachel) Wise, Kecia Wise, Karen (Tauston) Jackson, Laci Wise, Nathan Wise, and Heidi Wise; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
