Richard “Red Apple” Hollins of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Friday, July 13, 2018.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 at First Cornerstone Church, Picayune, Mississippi, Rev. Vernon Robinson is Pastor.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., services will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Robert Landor Officiating

Mr. Hollins a lifelong resident of Picayune was a George Washington Carver High graduate, an avid sportsman, high school baseball letterman, attended Paul Quinn College, Waco, Texas, on a baseball scholarship,

Mr. Hollins was a little league baseball coach, former member of Community of Christians Helping Youth, (CCHY), Board of Directors, and former employee of the City of Picayune Sanitation Department.

He is survived by his sister Ruby Jean Tyner Walker of Picayune, Mississippi. Preceding him in death were his parents, Anthony and Addie Hollins; one brother, Anthony,

Interment will be in the New Palestine Cemetery.
