Lewis “L. H.” Youngblood

Funeral service will be held Saturday July 14, 2018  at 2pm in Weems Chapel United Methodist Church for Lewis “L. H.” Youngblood, age 80, of Picayune, Mississippi, who died Thursday, July 5, 2018 at his home.

Rev. Robert Pittman will officiate at the service.

Burial in the New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Baylous.

“L. H.” was a native of Tylertown, Mississippi.

He was retired from Huey Stockstill as a Truck driver, and was a member of Weems Chapel United Methodist Church.

He is survived  by his  ex-wife Lee Ethel Youngblood of Picayune, Mississippi; five sons, Monroe Quinn, Lewis Youngblood Bridges, Shan Hall, Rashunpo Polk, all of Picayune, Mississippi, Jessie Simmons of Washington; three daughters Mary Higgins, Elisa Hall Orange, Rosalind Grams, all of Picayune, Mississippi; one brother, Orza Youngblood Jr., of Moss Point, Mississippi; five sisters Barbara S. Jackson, of Jackson, Mississippi;  Norma Peggy Goldsmith, Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Rose Lee Youngblood, Mattie Lee Conerly, Barbara Ann Youngblood all of New Orleans, Louisiana; one Aunt, Angeline Youngblood Stewart, of Biloxi, Mississippi;  15 grandchildren, 18 great -grandchildren, six great-great  grandchildren.

Mr. Youngblood was preceded in death by his parents, Orza and Mamie Stewart Youngblood; one sister, Armae B. Youngblood.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 12 noon until 2:00 pm in Weems Chapel United Methodist Church under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
