An error at the jail led to Jerry Anthony Marshall, 59, 7 Darby Lane, Carriere; mistakenly being listed as being arrested April 8, for controlled substance violation by the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department.

The Item has clarified with the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department that Terry Lynn Horne, 45, 107 Jordan McClain Rd. was the person arrested April 8, for controlled substance violation. Chief Deputy Shane Tucker said that Horne had Marshall’s identification on him at the time of his arrest, leading to a mixup in the department’s record system.

Tucker said the error has been corrected in the department’s system.
