Rotary Club of Picayune donates dictionaries

The Rotary Club of Picayune donated 648 dictionaries to all 3rd graders in the Picayune School District and the Pearl River County School District.
“We have been holding this event for many years,” Rotary Club of Picayune President Christy Goss said. “The Club holds many different small events throughout the year in order to raise money for different causes.”
Goss said the biggest event the Rotary Club holds during the year is its annual Rotary 5K race on St. Patrick’s Day.
“It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year and we always have a great turnout,” Goss said.
“We were super excited to make a great donation to the school system and we look forward to doing it again next year.”
