Memorial Services for Martha Louise Proctor Norton, age 93, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017, will be held Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 7:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Carl Heberg will officiate the service.

A native of Toombs, Georgia, she and Herman, Sr. moved to Picayune, Mississippi in 1960. Martha was a Homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Proctor and Zalia Smith Norton ; her husband, Herman (Irving) Norton, Sr; and her sisters, Betty Jo, Merle, Alvena,.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Herman Irving Norton; her 2 grandchildren, Louise Nicole (Grant) Stevens and John Allen Norton; her sister, Warnell Dicks; and her brothers, Darvin Andrews and Malcolm Andrews.
