Mass of Christian Burial for Alfred Brian Chrisman, age 88, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017, will be held Monday, October 9, 2017, at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Monday, October 9, 2017 from 8:30 am until 10:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home. 

Burial will be in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Father John Noone will officiate the service.

A native of Oxnard, CA, he served in the U.S. Navy as a Staff Supply Officer and retired from the U.S. Navy after 30 years. Al was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Al volunteered through his church for numerous community services.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Kenny Chrisman.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Mary Lou Brown Chrisman; his children, Mark (Tonya) Chrisman, Pat Koch, Jeff (Dionne) Chrisman, Bob (Mary) Bohley, Karen Beehler, Michele (Mike) Saucier, and Lisa (Ray) LeBlanc; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
