Funeral Services for Carol Virginia Persinger, age 82, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017, will be held Monday, October 2, 2017, at 3:00 pm at Union Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Monday, October 2, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home. 

Burial will be in Union Baptist Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Brian Tatum will officiate the service.

A native of Mississippi, she was a Switchboard Operator at First National Bank of Picayune and a member of Union Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Spiers and Blance Chishlom Spiers; her husband, J.B. Persinger; her brother, Albert Spiers; and her brother, Chishlom Spiers.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, James (Tammy) Persinger; and her daughter, Linda Stockstill; four grandchildren, Tai (Michael) Clay, Cody Persinger, Blain Persinger, and Erica (Jake) Berry; eight great grandchildren; her sister, Connie Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
