Funeral Services for Blake Michael Grice, age 2, of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017, will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. David Meeks will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, Mississippi, he was diagnosed with RCDP/Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata at birth. Blake was a blessing to everyone and filled everyone with happiness and joy. He touched lives all over the world. Blake always had a contagious smile and touched lives of everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparent, John Michael Grice; his paternal great grandfather, Buzzy Grice; his maternal great grandfather, Stanley Mitchell Laptas; his maternal great grandparents, Deloris (Robert) Schell; his wee friend, Cassidy McCrone; his maternal great uncle, James Laptas, great aunts, Lynn and Henry Lewandowski, and Sonnie Townsend.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jason Michael Grice and Elizabeth Laptas “Beth” Grice; his maternal grandparents, Michael  and Roberta Laptas, and Robert and Pattsey Rice; his paternal grandparents, Lisa Grice Beck and Edward Beck; his paternal great grandparents, Pat Grice, and Wimpy and Kay Vaughn; his maternal great grandmother, Leifia Laptas; his aunts and uncles, Sara  and Caleb Rabion, Laura  and Justin Havard, Marie  and Robert Hankins, Katie Laptas.
