Courageously and with the Holy bravery of her faith, Brenda wrote her final earthly chapter, as she transitioned into eternal peace on Thursday August 24, 2017 at her home.

One of the nine children, Brenda Kay Harris, 60, was born to the late Mattie and George Graham on March 10, 1957 in Poplarville, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her late husband Ezzard Charles Harris Sr., and her brother the late David Graham. Brenda was an active member at Rose of Sharon Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Reverend David Simmons.

As a devoted entrepreneur, Brenda opened her own catering company where she served many businesses. She also sold medical equipment, worked in a dress factory and assisted driving 18 wheelers. She was a very dutiful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

To forever cherish her memories and pass on her legacy of love are: two sons: Jacob Graham of DeRidder, Louisiana and Ezzard Charles (Kasey) Harris Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; three daughters: Taletric M. Harris of Houston, Texas, Charlotte D. Harris of DeRidder, Louisiana and Monica L. (Terrell) Harris of Waveland, Mississippi; four sisters: Betty Graham, Linda (Charlie) Gaulden, Deborah Graham all of Picyaune, and Evelyn Graham of New Jersey; four brothers: Ray (the late Robin) Graham of Carriere, George (Phyllis) Graham of Lumberton, Rickey (Jackie) Graham of Poplarville and the late David Graham of Picayune; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.

A special thanks to her special friend Mr. Lloyd “Tippy” Stallings Jr. for his love, acts of kindness and sacrifices shown each and every day.

Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
