William “Bill”A. Prepski, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2017 and “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes”: Revelations 21:4

Visitation will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at Picayune Funeral Home from 9 until 11 a.m. Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel.

William was born on March 20, 1938 in East Chicago, Indiana. He was retired from Air Products and Chemical Company where he worked as a mechanic and from the National Guard of Indiana where he retired as a Sergeant First Class.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Virginia (Ginny) Prepski; two daughters, Wendy Golden of Texas, and Penny (Adam) Mehn of Louisiana; two grandsons, Stephen Mehn and Sion Evans. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia and Adam Prepski; and his sister, Barbara Prepski.

Bill enjoyed traveling, working on his model trains, and being with family and friends.
