Funeral service for Sis. Katie Ruth Turner, of Picayune, MS, will be held at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Dr. Michael Kelley will officiate the service.  Dr. Van Bolden will deliver the eulogy. 

Sis. Turner answered her Master’s Call and transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, July 11, 2017.  She was a native of Cuba, Al and a faithful member of St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her love and memories, four children,  Willie Turner Jr. of Tacoma, WA, Nadine (Don) McDougle of Auburn, WA, Hope (Michael) McDougle of Picayune, MS, and Dwight Turner of Wiggins, MS; three sister, Gerri Tillman of Fortworth, TX,  Lucy (Clinton) Austin and Rosemary (Nathaniel) Smith both of Picayune MS; one brother, Charles Rice of Picayune, Miss.; Grandchildren;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Picayune Cemetery. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
