Funeral Services for Hubert Lee “Mack” Holcomb Jr., age 85, of Carriere, Mississippi, who passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017, will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Monday, July 31, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church and again on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Central Baptist Church.

Burial will be in McNeill Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Billy Galloway will officiate the service.

Mack was a lifelong resident of Carriere and a member of Central Baptist Church of McNeill. He proudly served our Country in the United States Air Force. 

He began work at the Bank of Picayune in 1956 which later became Hancock Back where he retired in 1993 as Vice President.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners and The Cattlemen’s Association. 

He also served as President of the PRC School Board for many years.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Lee Holcomb, Sr. and Tressie Brewer Holcomb; son, Herschel Beal Jr.; great granddaughter, Rylan Mazie Beal; sister, Rosita Roche.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of over 23 wonderful years, Alma Jean Gray Holcomb; daughters, Celia Crochet and husband John, Debbie Johnson and husband Tommy, Beverly Martin and husband Lonnie, Tammy  Smith and husband Smitty; sons, Lee Holcomb and wife Annette, Tim Beal and wife Carolyn; 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
