I Won’t Complain

Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Picayune Cemetery.  Rev. Tommy Haralson will officiate at the services with Military Honors.

Walter B. Woods, Jr., beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, and proud U.S. Veteran, passed early Saturday morning on June 17, 2017 at the age of 44.

Walter B. Woods, Jr. was born to Jeanette Peters and Walter Woods, Sr. on September 1,1972 in Picayune, Miss. He graduated in 1989 from Picayune Memorial High and enlisted in the U.S. Air Forces where he proudly served our country. 

He was honorably discharged in 1998. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He played the piano and sang in the choir.   

He was preceded in death by his Parents: Jeanette Smith, Walter B. Woods Sr. and sister Debra Peters.

He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Joseph Woods, brothers: Brian Woods, Steven Woods sisters: Veronica Haralson, Latoya Woods, Lucretia “Ann” Smith, Lucretia Woods, Carrise Woods, Keisha Woods, Carolyn Johnson, Bridgett Morgan, LaTanya Almond and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews and many cousins and friends who will revere his memory.
