Funeral Services for Brenda Watkins Blye, age 68, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, will be held Monday, June 19, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Union Baptist Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Billy Galloway will officiate the service.

A native of Picayune, MS, she was a retired Zone Manager at Walmart, and a member of Central Baptist Church. Brenda volunteered at The Clothes Closet at Picayune Park. She was a loving mother, Mawmaw, sister, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Elliott Watkins and Quennie May Martyn Watkins; her husband of 48 years, Rev. Richard L Blye, Jr.; and her son, James Trevor Blye.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ricky (Angela) Blye and Scott Elliott Blye; 3 grandchildren, Scott Tyler (Noelani) Blye, Benjamin Trevor Blye, and John Eugene Blye; 2 great grandchildren, Leland Griffin and Memphis Lane Blye; and her brothers, Barry (Mary) Martyn, Brian (Sandra) Watkins, and Larry (Bonnie) Watkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
