LAUREL — The Pearl River Central’s defense battled hard behind senior pitcher Cade Lee Friday night, keeping West Jones off the scoreboard on their field to win 4-0.

“That’s why he pitches game ones, because he battles,” PRC Head Coach Neil Walther said. “He plays his position so well and we play well behind him.”

Lee pitched a complete game, striking out five while walking a solo West Jones batter.

Then, late in the seventh inning, sophomore Hayden Dunhurst hit the top of the fence in right outfield to bring in another run.
