Funeral services for Lesser Lee Stallings, 82, Picayune, Miss. of will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at New Beginnings Baptist Church. Pastor Joey Mark will officiate at the service.
Sister Lesser Stallings started her journey in life on April 6, 1934.  She was born to the late Theodore Stallings, Sr. and Stella Gardener Stallings of Osyka, in Pike County, Miss. She departed this life peacefully on April 3, 2017 at Covenant Health & Rehab of Picayune, Miss.
Lesser was preceded in death by her parents; late husband, Clifton Anderson; son, Theodore Stallings; brothers, Lloyd, Louis Charles (L.C.), and Theodore Stallings, Jr.; and a sister, Addie Stallings.
She remained a faithful member of New Beginnings Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Joey Mark until her health failed her.
She leaves to cherish her memories a faithful son, Rufus (Elizabeth) Stallings of Picayune, Miss.; one brother, M. L. Stallings, Sr. of Osyka, Miss.; two granddaughters, Roshundra Goss of Covington, La. and Rachel Stallings of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; five great-grandchildren, Sanchez, Javion, Rahyen Goss, Ricki Brumfield and Zaleiah Brumfield; and a host of relatives and friends; special cousin, Maxine Gardener and eternal friend, Mary Helen Richardson.
Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Picayune Cemetery.  Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
