Mass of Christian burial for Leatrice “Flossie” Keefe, age 82, of Carriere, Miss., who passed away Friday, April  21, 2017 will be held Tuesday, April  25, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Picayune, Miss.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April  25, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Miss.
Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Father Joseph Trinh will officiate the service.
A native of Dorchester, Wis., she was a retired Lab Technician and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Flossie was a loving wife, mother, Granny, sister, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was best known for her cooking, baking, and Christmas decorations.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Mertens and Helena Kronschnabl Mertens; her son, Michael Keefe; her sister, Jeanine Geohagen; and her brother, Steve Mertens.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years, Patrick “Pat” Morris Keefe; her children, Toni (Patrick) McKinnon, Tim (Kim) Keefe, Jason (Laurie) Keefe, Shawn (Chris) Keefe, Stephanie (Dale) Schueller, Amy (Scott) Christian, Sarah (Shane) Schigur, Mary (Bill) Davis, and Jenny Keefe; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Keefe; 31 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her brother, Tim (Nancy) Mertens; her brother-in-law, Paul Geohagen; and her sister-in-law, Judy Mertens Shelton.
