Edward Lee Robinson

Edward Lee Robinson was the son of Shirley A. Robinson and the late Alonzo Robinson, born January 16, 1964, and departed this life on February 19, 2017.
Edward was his mother’s first born. He was raised in Catahoula, Miss. and attended school at Hancock North Central.  Edward worked as a janitor with his mom for some years and worked with his step-dad James Staten at Henley’s Timber for several years. He later moved to Arizona and lived there until 2009, before moving back to Mississippi.  He belonged to Open Bible Holiness, under the leadership of Chief Apostle James R. Dillon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alonzo Robinson; and two sisters, Geneva Robinson and Constance Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Shirley A. Robinson; four brothers, Danny L. Robinson, Jammie L. Robinson, Alex O. Robinson and Pashun L. Robinson; two sisters,  Heaster L. Robinson (William Childress) and LaTina R. Robinson (Charles Quinn); a step-brother, Anthony Newdeck; and a step-sister, Jessica Newdeck.
Edward was loved by many.  He will be missed by his mother, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and his Robinson and Dillon Family.
Graveside services for Edward Lee Robinson will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Parker Chapel Baptist Church.
Repast at the home of Sister Shirley Robinson. Entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
