From cleaning every surface of every room in residential estates to cleaning one of the largest county buildings, the crew of Crystal Clear Cleaning Specialists leaves areas spotless and strives to make a difference in each household.
About a decade ago, while Lisa Patrick read about the purpose of life during a Bible study she found her life’s calling. At the time, she was caring for elderly people and though she enjoyed her time with them, her heart broke each time one of them passed away. After weeks of prayer, Patrick said the Lord showed her her new new path, and soon enough, Patrick was running her own cleaning company, Crystal Clear Cleaning Specialists.
“I knew I was good with my hands, and the Lord revealed to me something I truly enjoy, cleaning,” Patrick said, who became the first minority woman to be contracted to provide a service for the county building off of Goodyear Boulevard.
Nine years ago, Patrick started the company, handing out flyers to potential customers. Now, she cleans about 10 commercial buildings and over 45 residences.
“I never imagined this happening,” she said.
Patrick said her favorite part of the job is being able to make a difference in people’s homes, which entails a lot more than just cleaning.
“We have known Lisa for many years now and consider her a friend of the family. Her honesty and integrity are just some of the reasons why we love having her come to our house for so many years,” Ed Bolgiano, a residential customer for nine years, said. “She brings a bright, positive attitude with her all the time. I highly recommend her and the services she provides.”
“My customers are my family. I love making lasting relationships with people and I always wake up excited to visit them. I want them to know that I am going to give them my best. The proof is in the performance,” Patrick said, quoting the business’ slogan displayed on the hard to miss pink company van.
As a mother of two sons, Patrick never had the opportunity to dress a daughter in one of her favorite colors, pink. So, Patrick said she treats her business like it’s her baby, dressing it up in pink and putting all of her time and devotion into it.
“My hands are on every account we have because I want to make sure everything is spotless for the customer and I really enjoy meeting new friends and catching up with old ones,” she said.
Crystal Clear Cleaning Specialists pink vans can be seen traveling highways in Picayune and as far away as Slidell, La.
“I feel so blessed to have an opportunity to do what I do,” Patrick said. “I love every second of it.”
