In a game full of turnovers, the Hornets pulled away with another district victory against Greene County, 55-41. Tamilijah Merrill led Poplarville with 15 points, four assists and four rebounds Tuesday night. Fellow senior Tyler Griffin finished with eight points, 11 rebounds, four assists and a block.

Lady Hornets fall short a fast paced game against Greene County, 66-57

Two Poplarville girls finished their senior night with over 20 points, Mallory Smith with 23 points, and Zanaisha Turner, who scored 20. Another senior Kenya Tillman stepped up big as crashed the boards for 10 rebounds while scoring six points during senior night.
