Millie Nelson, 70, of West Burlington, Iowa, passed away on November 26, 2016.  A previous service was held in Iowa, but Millie wished to have her final resting place in Picayune, where she lived for years.
Survivors include her husband, Steven Nelson of West Burlington, Iowa; one son, Charles (Beth) Pfadenhauer of Picayune, Miss.; one step-daughter, Sulene Nelson of Burlington, Iowa; two grandchildren, Jesse and Lauren Pfadenhauer of Picayune, Miss.; three sisters, Mary Weyrick of Danville, Iowa, Gina (Dan) Stokes of Omro, Wis., Holly (Rick) Parrott of Danville; one brother, Tim (Chris) Jayne of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, and one granddaughter.
Graveside services will be at Unity Baptist Church cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on January 14th, 2017 under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
