Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Rose of Sharon Church of God in Christ for Mrs. Lena Mae Burnett, 80, of Picayune, Miss., who died Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Highland Community Hospital.

Rev. Harvey Benard will officiate at the service. Burial in the Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.

She was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecost Church; she was one of the seven founders.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.S. Burnett; parents, Pink and Maude Carter Arrington; one daughter, Linda Burnett; a grandson, Dominic Burnett; 2 sisters, Idell Arrington McDonald and Zena Mae Arrington McGill.

Survivors include a daughter, Charlene Burnett Stroud, of Picayune, Miss.; 4 granddaughters, Maudesa and Charmere Burnett of Picayune, Miss., Marlene and Donna Rice of Picayune, Miss.; 3 grandsons Demarcus Burnett, Donvan Rice, Dejean Stroud of Picayune; 3 great-grandchildren, A’ Kiylan and Aaliyah Burnett and Marley McKinney all of Picayune, Miss.; 3 sisters, Lula Bonner of Vossburg, Miss., Annie Pearl Burnett and Ethel Ree Burton of Picayune, Miss.; and 2 brothers, Willie Arrington and Odell Arrington of Shubuta, Miss.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in Rose of Sharon Church of God in Christ, under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.
