Joseph Hattings, 77, of Picayune, Mississippi died suddenly on December 11.
Joe was preceded by
his wife Elizabeth Hattings of Picayune, Mississippi; Parents: Donald & Viola Hattings of Groton, Connecticut; Brother Jim Hattings of West Hartford, Connecticut and Sister Betty Elder of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Joe is survived by his brother Richard Hattings of Henderson, Nevada, three stepchildren: Dena Kerita of Pensacola, Fl, Dana Farmer of Dallas, Texas, Renee Ferguson of Gulf Breeze, Florida. Joe also leaves 3 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.
Joe served his country for 20 years in the US Navy and retired from Murphy Oil.
Burial will be at Barancas National Cemetery Pensacola, Florida on January 17th. A Celebration of Life will be held January 17th in Picayune, Mississippi at Hideaway Lake club house from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers.
