The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department is requesting assistance from the community in identifying the person or persons responsible for shooting at businesses and vehicles along U.S. 11 Monday night.
Chief Investigator Marc Ogden said the department received calls about the incident at 9:38 Monday night from the Skate Station that someone had fired shots at the business and vehicles parked outside. As deputies responded to that call, they got additional calls from other businesses, including CoCo’s in Carriere, concerning shots being fired from a vehicle in motion.
Ogden said no one was injured, but several businesses along U.S. 11 and the vehicles parked outside at the time were struck by bullets.
Anyone with information about this incident, including the identity of the person or persons involved, is asked to call the department at 601798-5528.
