James Spencer McClendon, 66, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, died Friday, September 23, 2016, surrounded by his family.
Services will be at White Funeral Home, 315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470 on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. James Bond and Rev. Bill Rester officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 11:00 a.m. until services, Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. McClendon was born January 4, 1950 in Poplarville to Jake McClendon and Dorothy Walley McClendon. He was a retired truck driver and Baptist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family members include his wife, Ann McClendon; two children, Heith (Hollie) McClendon, Heather McClendon; three grandchildren, Lake McClendon, Sam McClendon, Banks McClendon; and five sisters, Donna (Terry) McGuyer, Janna Jackson, Mary Lou (Jeff) McElray, Lori (James) Bond, and Judy (Roger) Myers.
