Matthew Osman “Sir Twig” Spooner, 35, passed away on July 6, 2016 in New Orleans, LA. 

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jasmine Abigail Spooner and one sister, Chanda Cheree Frierson Lavigne.

His survivors include his mother, Shirley Knight of Picayune, his father, Henry Spooner of Olsmar, FL; three children, Yasmine Spooner, Matthew “Duce” Spooner, II, Matthew “Tres” Spooner, III; one sister, Jena Bilbo; four nieces and nephews, Chancey Bilbo, Madison Bilbo, Blake Strickland, and Elijah Lavigne, all of Picayune. 

The family will be receiving friends at New Bethel Full Gospel Church, Picayune, on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday, July 13 at 10 a.m. with graveside services following at Lee Chapel Church Cemetery.
