Mass of Christian Burial for Burt Philip Dominique, 79, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016, will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Father Joseph Trinh will officiate the service.
A native of Belle Rose, LA, he was a production superintent for Gulf Oil and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Burt was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend who will be truly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Louis Dominique and Leize Bergeron Dominique.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Genevieve “Genny” Dupont Dominique; his children, Wanda (Lea) Smith, Joey Dominique, Steven (Sharon) Dominique, and Kenneth (Joy) Dominique, and Dena Dominique; 8 grandchildren, Travis Bruce, Brandon Bruce, Erin (Joseph) Herring, Kayla Dominique, Macie Dominique, Chance Dominique, Lauren Dominique, and Jena Leake; 2 great grandchildren, Sean Bruce and Sera Bruce; and his brother, Bobby Dominique.
