James Larry Palmer

Funeral services for James Larry Palmer, age 75 of  Picayune, MS, who passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015, will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Roseland Park Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Roseland Park Baptist Church.
Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Dr. Brad Arnett will officiate the service, assisted by Rev. Brad Replogle.
A native of Carriere, MS, he was a supervisor in the oil fields and attended Roseland Park Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Palmer and Zoena Cochran Palmer; his sisters, Sharon Palmer and Maxine Palmer; and his brother, Cecil Palmer.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Virginia Blackmon Palmer; his daughters, Kerry (Darwyn) Jarrell, and Angela (Byron) Hill; 5 grandchildren, Kelly Hill, Andrew Hill, James DeVore, Austin DeVore, and Logan DeVore; 2 great grandchildren, Ethan Henley and Aiden Hill; his brothers and sister, Ray (Mary) Palmer, Geneva Lossett, June Bug Palmer, and Louis Palmer.
