Funeral services for Joe M. Beeson, age 80 of  Picayune, MS, who passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015, will be held Monday, June 1, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Unity Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. R.T. Buckley will officiate the service, assisted by Rev. Shad Kennedy.

A native of Moselle, MS, he was a mold maker for 47 years, and a member of Unity Baptist Church. Joe was also a deacon at Unity Baptist Church. He was also a mason for 57 years. Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend who will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. Beeson and Mary Louise Bowman Beeson; and his sister Mary Bob Presley.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Margaret Murray Beeson; his children, Bobby Joe Beeson and wife Jean, George Michael Beeson and wife Martha, Debra Ann Malley and husband Vearl, Jerry Paul Beeson and wife Theresa; his brother and sisters, Willie P. Beeson, Alva Sue Cahoon, Betty Morgan and husband Joe; his 16 grandchildren; and his 21 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
