Memorial services for Edwin Bass, age 76, formerly of Picayune, MS, who passed away Friday, April 10, 2015, will be held Monday, April 13, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Picayune.

Visitation will be Monday, April 13, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Picayune.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery, at a later date, under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Rev. Harold Manning will officiate the service. A native of Poplarville, MS, he owned and operated Stewart Machine and Engineering, Co. and was active in the community. He was a proud graduate of Mississippi State University, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He served as president and on the Board of Directors of Millbrook Golf and Country Club and the Picayune Airport. He was also on the Board of Directors of 1st United Bank, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Pearl River Community College Foundation.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glyndol Carl Bass and Frances Harvey Bass and his sisters, Jeanne Day and Jo Beth Elvin. Remembered by his wife of 54 years, Brenda Greene Bass; his daughter, Keri Hensarling and husband Ron; his grandsons, Klint Hensarling and Nik Hensarling; and his great grandson Chandler Hensarling.
